Itinerary: Day 1: Trip to David Gareja Monastery founded in the 6th c. Visit “Lavra” where the monks live. Uphill walking to “Udabno” to see the fresco in the cave-cells. Walk down. Trip to Sighnaghi hill-town. Walk around. Visit Tsinandali residence and park of the 19th c. Optional wine tasting at a winery in Sighanghi or in Kvareli. Overnight in Kvareli or in Telavi. Hotel. Day 2: Excursion at Gremi architectural complex of the 16th c. Drive to visit Alaverdi Cathedral, 11th c. Finally visit Shuamta Monastery . Return to Tbilisi via Gombori pass. Arrive in Tbilisi.
