Itinerary: Day 1: Trip along the Georgian Military Road to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda), 160km, by crossing the Greater Caucasus at Jvari Pass (2395m) En route we have a short stop at Ananuri Fortress. Before arrival in Kazbegi we take 2 – 3 hour hiking in Truso Valley. Arrive in Kazbegi (1700m). Walk around. Hotel. Day 2: In the morning walk up to Gergeti Church (2150m). Walk down. Trip north from Kazbegi to Dariali Canyon and take 1 – 2 hour trek in Gveleti Valley. Return Kazbegi. Free time to relax. Hotel. Day 3: Morning drive through Sno Valley to reach village Juta (2150m) and enjoy a trekking into the circuit of the Chaukhi Mountains. Return to Tbilisi.
