Itinerary: Day 1: Drive from Tbilisi to Mestia, Svaneti to cover about 480km, The trip will take from 8 to 9 hours with some stops en route. Arrive in Mestia (1400m). Hotel. Day 2: Explore Mestia with its famous Svanetian towers and the Museum. Walk around and enjoy the views of the surrounding summits Ushba and Tetnuldi. Optional hiking tour to Challadi Valley at the foot of Mt. Ushba. Overnight in Mestia. Day 3: Trip to village Ushguli (2350m) situated at the foot of Mt. Shkhara (5200m) the highest summit of Georgia. Walk in the village, known for numerous Svanetian towers many of that date back to 10th – 13th centuries. Possible hiking in the valley of river Enguri. Return to Mestia. Day 4: Drive back to Tbilisi (480km). Arrive in Tbilisi.
