Itinerary: City tour of Tbilisi with visits to the old part of the city: Metekhi Temple, 12th c., the “Abanotubani” – the baths area, Narikala, – The main fortress of Tbilisi. Walking through some narrow streets, of along which some carpet and souvenir shops are situated. We visit the Sioni Cathedral 11th c. Visit the “Peace Bridge”. Visit Anchiskhati Church 6th c. Then we visit Georgian National Museum (Closed on Mondays and public holidays). Visit Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue, the main street of Tbilisi.
Excursion to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. Here we visit Jvari Monastery, 6th c. and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, 11th c. Return Tbilisi.
Duration: 6 to 7 hours.
