Itinerary: Optional excursion in Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia (No extra charge). Excursion to Uplistsikhe ancient cave-city dated to the 7th – 6th century BC. Via Borjomi resort arrive in Bakuriani (1800m) surrounded by the Mountains of the Lesser Caucasus. Hotel. Day 2: Drive to Vardzia via Akhaltsikhe where we visit Rabati – the old part of the city. Stop at Khertvisi Fortress. Excursion in Vardzia cave-monastery founded by Queen Tamar in the beginning of the 12th century. Return to Tbilisi via Samtskhe-Javakheti region and Lake Paravani (2075m). Arrive in Tbilisi.
Included in the Price: Accommodation: 1 night in Bakuriani at a 3 star hotel. Meals: 1 dinner and 1 breakfast. Transportation; Guiding; Entrance fees to Uplistsikhe, Rabati and Vardzia.
