Itinerary: Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi Airport. Day 2: Full day city tour of Tbilisi with excursions to the Old City,  museums, churches and architectural monuments, and other sites of this fascinating city. Night in Tbilisi. Day 3: Today we have full day trip to Kakheti. First we visit Sighnaghi a beautiful hill-town. Walk in the town. Optional visit of the winery. Then we visit Gremi architectural complex of the 16th c. and Alaverdi Cathedral (11th c). Visit Tsinandali. Time permitting we have short sightseeing of Telavi. Return to Tbilisi via the forested mountains of Gombori. Arrive in Tbilisi. Day 4: Excursion to Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia. We continue trip along the river Aragvi Valley and Georgian Military Highway. Cross the Greater Caucasus at Jvari Pass (2395m) down to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). Explore the area and and enjoy the views of the Caucasus Mountains, including Mt Kazbek. Walk up to Gergeti Sameba Church. Return Tbilisi On the road visit Ananuri architectural complex. Overnight in Tbilisi. Day 5: End of the tour.

After exploring Tbilis our tour is continued to Kakheti, Georgia’s wine-growing countryside known for beautiful churches and monasteries. Via Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia we journey to the heart of the Caucasus Mountains and explore the neighbourhood of Stepantsminda located at the foot of Mt. Kazbek. Via Kutaisi we travel to the Black Sea and stay in Batumi and stay there for two nights. Or travel back to Tbilisi.
